Anchor and Braille have signed to Tooth and Nail Records and will release their new album, The Quiet Life, in stores and online July 31.

Anchor and Braille formed in 2008 as a solo project for Anberlin frontman, Stephen Christian. According to Tooth and Nail, he has spent the past three years writing this album which reflects on the experiences of a touring musician.

Tooth and Nail calls The Quiet Life “a carefully constructed work demonstrating Christian’s own love for music as well as his ability to draw from his surroundings and influences to create a unique, thoughtfully crafted musical work all his own.”

In support of the new album, Anchor and Braille will be on tour  from July 21 through August. For more dates, tickets and information, visit the band’s website.

The Quiet Life was recorded early this year at Peptalk Studios in Nashville, Tenn.
