Yeasayer release new track, “Henrietta”

Yeasayer have released their new track, “Henrietta”.

The song appeared online after the band sent CD’s to fans on their mailing list last week. It’s been over two years since the electro-indie outfit from Brooklyn released their last album, Odd Blood, so this is exciting for Yeasayer fans.

According to The Fox Is Black, “Henrietta” references Henrietta Lacks, whose cells were extracted after she died to create the immortal cell line, which helped develop the polio vaccine as well as many other medical breakthroughs.
