Unboxing the K-Swiss Gen-K Manifesto Knit

Greg Reynoso Journalist

K-Swiss Canada recently sent over a pair of the K-Swiss Gen-K Manifesto Knit in black/wet weather that I have had in rotation for about 1 month now, here are my initial impressions.

The black and gray knitting found on the upper is what drew my attention immediately upon opening the top of the box. Lifting one of the sneakers out of the box, you’ll find the signature K-Swiss 5 Stripe cage in black on both sides, joining to the white molded outsole.

K-Swiss Gen-K Manifesto Knit

K-Swiss offers a versatile, great looking sneaker with optimal function. This shoe is versatile in that it can be casually be worn with your favorite pair of jeans, or, you can up your fitness gear and train as hard as you can go in the K-Swiss Gen-K Manifesto Knit. Finding the EVA sock liner on this sneaker after personally first experiencing it on the GaryVee 001 is great to see. For some reason, I find it takes wearing these around for some time before they feel as comfortable as the EVA sock liner on the GaryVee 001’s. As of writing this, you can grab these at K-Swiss.com for $66.50, down from $95 USD.

An athletic-inspired lifestyle sneaker, the Gen-K Manifesto Knit offers lightweight breathability in a fashionable, contemporary construction.
