Sometime within this last year I was browsing through a hashtag on Instagram, when I came across a talented freehand line Artist by the name of Kyle Confehr from Philadelphia, PA. After the two of us messaged back and forth and liking each others photos for a bit, Kyle reached out showing some love for Linq, also inquiring on a possible collaboration of some sort. Since that day we’ve kept in close contact, while carefully planning our collaboration project which will be announced later this summer. One standout aspect that makes Kyle’s works intriguing, is that he creates a hyperlapse video showing the process from start to finish, which personally adds to the enjoyment of his artwork. Check out his start to finish piece he completed for The Public Trust.
Lately, Kyle has been busy working on a few notable mural commissions throughout Philly, with his work at Warehouse On Watts being a personal favorite. Above, you can check out his collaboration with The Down Market, a fresh digital magazine from San Antonio, Texas. Line illustration isn’t the only skillset Kyle holsters, below you can view some original artwork he’s done on some tees for Zoo York and a couple of bands.
Make sure to connect withKyle Confehr below, and don’t forget to catch me on Instagram and Twitter to let me know which artists you’d like to see featured in the future.
