“It’s a song about accepting things as they are instead wishing circumstances were different”
Loops & Loops is the arrival of indie and lofi musical mastermind Peter Bogolub, who has been making music for the last twenty years. Breaking ground during quarantine and recorded in his NYC apartment closet, this all-new release by Loops & Loops arrives as a 10-track album titled “Fake Face”, exploring introspective sorrows delivered over an easily absorbed indie-rock production. A personal favorite from the “Fake Face” album is “Things Are” for the quick reminder to not worry about things I cannot change. Pete explains more about this and the track “Things Are” below.
It’s a song about accepting things as they are instead wishing circumstances were different. Written during the pandemic when life was rather chaotic, the upbeat melody offers a glimpse of hope.Peter Bogolub
Two additional stand-out tracks from this release include the previously released singles “County Fair“and “Pain In My Heart” which premiered on New Noise and Spill Magazine respectively. Stream the full “Fake Face” album below via Spotify.
